Romano has revealed details of Alonso's contract with Bayer that could affect the coach's departure

Insider Fabrizio Romano on his page in X (previously - Twitter) amid interest from top clubs revealed the nuances of the contract of Xabi Alonso with Bayer.

According to the Italian, the contract of the head coach of the "pharmacists" does not specify the exit clause, but if he decides to open a new page in his coaching career by moving to another team - the bosses of the Leverkusen club will not oppose.

Romano also added that Alonso is still attracting interest from Liverpool and Bayern Munich, who will be without a coach at the end of the season. Currently, both clubs are in the negotiation process with Bayer.

Recall that the departure of Jürgen Klopp became known earlier, but Bayern announced the parting of ways with Thomas Tuchel on 21 February.
