End of story. Bayern will have a new coach next season

After discussions between Bayern Munich's head coach Thomas Tuchel and the club's management, a decision has been reached that there will be a new head coach for the team in the next season, as reported FC Bayern website.

Both parties have concluded that, given the recent setbacks, it would be in the best interest of both the club and the coach to make a change.

It is expected that Bayern will officially announce Tuchel's departure in the near future.

Earlier reports suggested that Bayern sees Bayer Leverkusen's Xabi Alonso as the ideal candidate to replace Tuchel in the summer. If the Spaniard ultimately chooses Liverpool, the club is considering options including the return of Hansi Flick and the appointment of Antonio Conte.

Recall that Bayern Munich suffered three consecutive defeats in all competitions for the first time since 2015. Moreover, on February 18, they unexpectedly lost to Bochum (2:3). In the Bundesliga, Munich is currently in second place, trailing Bayer Leverkusen by 8 points.
