Following their latest Serie A match, Roma’s management decided to part ways with head coach Ivan Jurić and is now searching for a new manager.
Details: According to insider Nicolò Schira, one candidate proposed to the management is Rudi Garcia. The French coach dreams of returning to Roma and has already expressed his readiness to join the "Giallorossi."
The Roma owner will consider all options and make a decision on the new coach within the next two weeks.
By the way, Rudi Garcia was already in charge of Roma from 2013 to 2016. Later, the 60-year-old Frenchman worked with Marseille, Lyon, Saudi Arabia's Al-Nasr, and his last job was at Napoli, which he led for a short period of time in 2023.
Recently, it was reported that Roberto Mancini is one of the main candidates to replace Jurić. The former coach of the Italian national team and Manchester City has already held talks with Roma’s management.
The last time the Friedkin family visited Rome, they dismissed Juric’s predecessor, De Rossi. Additionally, in January of this year, they personally informed José Mourinho about his firing.
