The young manager Francesco Farioli is making an impressive impact at Ajax, and this summer he might have the chance to return to Italy.
Details: According to Nicolo Schira, Roma is interested in appointing Farioli as their new head coach.
The Roman club believes that the style of football Farioli implements is similar to the one Claudio Ranieri instilled in the team.
Farioli himself would like to coach one of the top Serie A clubs one day, but it will be challenging for Roma to negotiate with Ajax, with whom Farioli has a contract until the summer of 2027.
Before Ajax, Farioli coached Nice, Fatih Karagümrük, Alanyaspor, and was also an assistant to Roberto De Zerbi at Sassuolo.
Reminder: It was previously reported that Roma was interested in Gian Piero Gasperini from Atalanta.
