Claudio Ranieri is currently Roma's head coach, but the club is still in search of a long-term managerial solution and is eyeing a Serie A specialist.

Details: According to journalist Marco Conterio from Tuttomercatoweb, Roma’s management is exploring the possibility of appointing Gian Piero Gasperini, who is currently in charge of Atalanta. Initial contacts with Atalanta have already taken place to assess the feasibility of this move.

Notably, Gasperini has stated that he will not be extending his contract with Atalanta. At the end of the season, both parties will decide whether to let his deal run until 2026 or part ways immediately.

Reminder. Recently, a scandal erupted within Italian football involving Atalanta between Gasperini and striker Ademola Lookman. Today, the coach stated that he did not intend to offend the player with his statement.
