Rojo Eager for Club World Cup, Highlights Messi Factor in Miami

Marcos Rojo is already looking ahead to Boca Juniors' participation in the expanded Club World Cup, set to take place in Miami. Speaking to FIFA’s official channel, the veteran defender shared his excitement about the competition and pointed out how the Latin American atmosphere in Miami will elevate the tournament.
“It’s going to be a beautiful experience, a big one for players and clubs worldwide. I’m really happy we get to be a part of it,” Rojo said.
He also referenced the presence of Lionel Messi, now a Miami resident with Inter, as a key factor:
“Now that he's there, having all our fans show up will bring an amazing vibe to the city.”
With Messi's popularity and the Latin community in Florida, Boca expects strong support during the group stage. Rojo also addressed the challenge ahead: Boca will face Benfica and Bayern Munich in Group C.
“We know it won’t be easy. The first goal is to beat Benfica and take it step by step from there,” he added.
