The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) has agreed with Rogério Micale, the coach of the U-20 national team, to end his contract. The Brazilian coach, who was leading the youth team, will get $255,000 as a settlement, which is equal to three months of his salary.
Micale has already been paid for two months, and the remaining $85,000 will be paid in two months. This decision came after rumors, started by his agent Caio Ziller, hinted that the coach would soon leave, even though no official agreement had been made yet.
Micale announced his departure from the Egyptian youth squad in a public announcement. To move the squad ahead, the EFA is now probably going to search for a new coach.
