Rodri travels with Manchester City for PSG clash
2025 Ballon d’Or winner Rodri continues his recovery from a serious cruciate ligament injury.
The Spanish midfielder has joined Manchester City on their trip for tomorrow's Champions League match against PSG. Although still recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament injury, he wants to stay close to the team and support his teammates at the Parc des Princes.
The 28-year-old Spaniard suffered the injury in September. Despite this setback, he was awarded the 2024 Ballon d’Or in October. This season, Rodri has managed to play three matches for the Citizens across all competitions.
Manchester City will face PSG on Wednesday, January 22. Kickoff is scheduled for 9:00 PM CET. After six group stage matches, the Citizens have accumulated eight points in the Champions League.
