Renowned American trainer Robert Garcia has revealed why WBA junior middleweight champion Terence Crawford might retire from boxing.

Details: According to Garcia, only a fight with Saul "Canelo" Alvarez could keep the veteran in the ring. If Crawford doesn’t get that fight, he may consider hanging up his gloves.

Quote: “Look, Crawford is a smart guy. He’s already accomplished so much. He doesn’t need to keep challenging himself or prove anything to anyone.

I spoke with him personally, and it seems to me he wants a big fight with Canelo. If he doesn’t get it, he might never fight again,” Garcia said in an interview with Fight Hype.

Recall: Crawford and Turki Al Al-Sheikh recently challenged Canelo to a fight after Alvarez’s successful title defense in September.

Crawford has previously stated that he is fully confident he would defeat the Mexican superstar if they were to meet in the ring.
