RIP. Tragedy on Moroccan roads: 18-year-old Trento footballer dies in car crash

Very sad news has come out of Morocco.

Details: Today, the Italian club A.C. Trento 1921 reported the tragic death of academy player Sami Said, who died at the age of 18 in a car accident in Morocco.

The club issued an official statement expressing heartfelt condolences to the young footballer's family and loved ones.

“Football Club Trento 1921 is deeply saddened by the tragic passing of Sami Said. The president, management, his teammates, youth academy staff, and the entire club extend their deepest sympathies to Sami’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him. Farewell, Sami.” the statement reads.

The death of this young player has dealt a heavy blow to the entire football family at the club, where Said was considered one of the academy’s most promising talents.

Other Italian football clubs have also joined in mourning Said.
