The Polish football community is in deep mourning following devastating news from Poznan.

Details: Former Polish footballer and scout Wojciech Onsorge has passed away at the age of 32 following a long battle with a malignant brain tumor, as reported by Weszło. The former defender spent thirteen years within the Warta Poznań system and also represented Lech Poznań II during his playing career.

Since 2021, Onsorge had been working as a youth scout for Lech Poznań, discovering and nurturing young talents across the region. Alongside his scouting work, he successfully ran his own youth football schools in Luboń and Puszczykowo, dedicating his life to developing the next generation of players.

Wojciech was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor in 2021, which prompted widespread support and fundraising campaigns organized jointly by both Poznan clubs and the broader Polish sporting community.

Both Warta Poznań and Lech Poznań have officially published heartfelt condolences to Wojciech's family, close friends, and young students.
