RIP. Lionel Messi's close confidant Omar Souto passes away

Details: Today, Lionel Messi's official Instagram page published a heartfelt farewell to Omar Souto, the 73-year-old manager of the Argentina national team who has passed away.
"You were always by my side and became the man who paved the way for the AFA to take notice of me. A great man—impossible to forget for all of us lucky enough to have been part of the national team. Your legacy will live on forever. We will never forget you, Omar. Rest in peace." - wrote Leo.
It was Souto who convinced Leo to play for Argentina instead of Spain at a pivotal moment in Messi's career.
The AFA also released an official statement, thanking Souto for 30 years of loyal service.
