Details: Today it was reported that Fatjon Bunjaku, the right winger for the Kosovo youth national team and AF Elbasani, has died at the age of 22.
According to reports, Bunjaku passed away as a result of a horrific car accident that occurred last Sunday in the village of Mahanui, Kosovo. Media sources state that Bunjaku was behind the wheel at the time of the crash and sustained injuries incompatible with life.
The Football Federation of Kosovo expressed "deep pain and profound sorrow" in response to this heartbreaking news.
The 22-year-old Bunjaku had represented Kosovo at the U-19 and U-21 levels. At club level, he played for teams such as Liria, Malisheva, Gjilani, and AF Elbasani.
