There is no place for such atrocities in the modern world.
Details: Today it became known that the death sentence for 19-year-old Iranian wrestler Saleh Mohammadi was carried out in Iran.
Reports indicate that Iranian authorities executed the young athlete by hanging, citing his participation in anti-government protests and the killing of a police officer.
Saleh was arrested on January 15 of this year, and just three days later, on January 18, he was sentenced to death—a sentence that was carried out today.
The executed athlete tried to appeal the fatal court decision, stating that his confession was made under pressure and torture. However, the country's authorities remained adamant and refused to overturn the death penalty.
