Details: Today it was reported that the Águia de Marabá U-20 youth team was involved in a fatal road accident in Tocantins.

Águia de Marabá is a club from Marabá competing in the Pará State League, with their youth side taking part in the junior league.

The tragedy occurred in the state of Tocantins as the team was returning from another match in São Paulo. The bus, carrying 20 team members, collided with a truck. As a result of the crash, the team's fitness coach, Heton Alves, lost his life, while head coach Ronan Taizer suffered serious injuries.

At this time, there is no further information about other victims.

"We regret to inform you that, as a result of this tragic accident, a member of our technical staff, fitness coach Heton Alves, has passed away. Coach Ronan Taizer, who sustained serious injuries, was taken to hospital where he is receiving the necessary medical attention," the Águia de Marabá team announced.
