Sad news coming from Burkina Faso.

Details: Today, the official page of Portugal's Vitória Guimarães announced the passing of 27-year-old former central defender Ben Zagrè.

It is reported that Ben Zagrè died after a long battle with bone cancer, which was discovered in his knee in 2025, forcing him to bring his football career to a halt.

Zagrè played for Vitória Guimarães from 2019 to 2021. He appeared in just one match for the club's youth team and never managed to break into the senior squad.

Zagrè also earned a single cap for the Burkina Faso national team.
