Details: Today, the official Blackburn Rovers page on social network X announced that former club striker Tony Field has passed away at the age of 79.
Tony Field played for Blackburn Rovers from 1971 to 1974. He made 120 appearances for the club, scoring 54 goals. In addition to Blackburn, Field also played for teams such as Barrow, Southport, Sheffield United, New York Cosmos, and finished his career at Memphis Rogues FC in 1980.
