In his final game, Kneeland scored the only touchdown of his career, and today it was reported that he has passed away.

Details: Today it was learned that 24-year-old Dallas Cowboys defensive end Marshawn Kneeland was found dead this morning.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the cause of death was suicide. Kneeland died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Reports indicate that Kneeland had been suffering from severe depression after losing his mother in 2024.

The NFL has already extended its condolences to the bereaved family with an official statement:
