Midfielder Declan Rice will lead the England national team onto the field for the first time as captain. The midfielder will captain the Three Lions in a friendly match against Belgium.

Interestingly, Rice will become the first player from London's Arsenal to lead the England national team onto the field with the captain's armband since 2005 when it was Sol Campbell in a match against the United States.

Additionally, Rice will be the first Gunners' captain at Wembley since Tony Adams in 2000 against Germany.

Rice joined Arsenal at the beginning of the season from West Ham for €116 million. The midfielder immediately became a key player for Mikel Arteta's team, playing 39 matches, scoring 7 goals, and providing 6 assists.

For Rice, this match will mark his 50th appearance for England. The match against Belgium will kick off at 20:45 Central European Time.
