Reunion with Messi: midfielder agrees move to MLS side
Casemiro has decided against extending his contract with Manchester United and is now set to continue his career in Major League Soccer.
Details: According to The Touchline, the Brazilian midfielder has already agreed personal terms with Inter Miami CF. Casemiro has made it clear that he wants to join the Florida-based side, with both parties now close to reaching a full verbal agreement. He has also informed LA Galaxy that he has chosen Inter Miami as his next destination.
The move would see him reunite with Lionel Messi as Inter Miami continue their strong run of form. The club have won three consecutive matches and currently sit second in the Eastern Conference standings, having collected 28 points from 14 games.
Reminder: Inter Miami recently secured a 2–0 victory over Portland Timbers in MLS regular-season action, but despite the result, the mood among home supporters was far from celebratory as fans staged a protest against the club.
