Inter Miami defeated Portland 2–0 in an MLS regular-season match, but the mood among sections of the home support was far from positive, as fans organised a protest against the club.
Details: According to Franco Panizo, several supporters’ groups carried out a silent protest ahead of the match against Portland.
The fans were unhappy with what they viewed as a lack of acknowledgement from the players during previous home games. There were no musical instruments, no chants, no banners or flags — only silence.
Inter Miami have now won three consecutive games and currently sit second in the MLS Eastern Conference standings. After 14 rounds, they have collected 28 points.
As a reminder: Casemiro is no longer expecting to remain at Old Trafford and is weighing up options to continue his career in MLS.
