Arsenal faced Wolverhampton on the road in the 34th round of the English Premier League.

The Gunners approached the match in a less-than-ideal mood, having failed to win in their last three games. Over the past couple of weeks, Mikel Arteta's team dropped from the top spot in the Premier League and exited the Champions League.

The teams played a nearly even first half, with the visitors enjoying a slight territorial advantage. This advantage resulted in a goal for Arteta's side just before halftime.

Leandro Trossard put Arsenal ahead in the closing moments of the first 45 minutes with a spectacular strike into the Wolves' net. Gabriel Jesus provided the assist, skillfully battling in the penalty area.

After the break, Arsenal maintained their intensity, aiming to double their fragile lead. Wolverhampton, on the other hand, posed no threat to David Raya's goal. In stoppage time, Martin Ødegaard sealed the Gunners' success.

Arsenal's victory by a two-goal margin was enough to end their run of poor form and reclaim the top spot in the table. However, Manchester City and Liverpool each have one game in hand.
