Following back-to-back UEFA Champions League triumphs, Paris Saint-Germain are looking to strengthen their squad and have now reached an agreement to sign a player from Aston Villa.
Details: According to Fabrice Hawkins, Lucas Digne has agreed to join the Parisian giants and has already signed his contract with PSG. The agreement has been finalised, with the defender set to sign a three-year deal. Once the World Cup concludes, the French club will activate the release clause included in the left-back's contract.
Digne previously played for PSG. On July 17, 2013, the club announced the signing of the French defender on a five-year contract in a deal worth €15 million. He spent several seasons in Paris before joining Roma in 2015.
Reminder: Paris Saint-Germain have also shown strong interest in a 23-year-old Japanese goalkeeper following his impressive performances at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
