Return to Europe: Al-Ahli coach Matthias Jaissle has caught the interest of a Bundesliga club
Al-Ahli head coach Matthias Jaissle could take over at Stuttgart in the summer of 2025. The talented manager is close to returning to his homeland.
Details: Insider Florian Plettenberg reports that the German club is preparing for the possible departure of Sebastian Hoeneß and is already compiling a list of potential replacements. The main contender is 36-year-old Jaissle, who has won the Austrian league twice and the Austrian Cup once with Salzburg.
Other serious candidates for the managerial role include Sandro Wagner, Julian Nagelsmann's assistant in the Germany national team.
Reminder: Jaissle is a product of Stuttgart's youth system. He retired from playing at the age of 25 due to a cruciate ligament injury. He has been coaching since 2015 and has already built a strong reputation in this role.
