Return to England is imminent! Aston Villa one step away from landing PSG star

Aston Villa is on the verge of pulling off an impressive defensive coup in the transfer market.

Details: According to insider Rupert Atkinson, Aston Villa is extremely close to finalizing an agreement for the transfer of Paris Saint-Germain centre-back Illia Zabarnyi. The Birmingham side has made significant progress in negotiations and aims to wrap up the deal in the near future.

The clubs are set to structure the move as an initial loan spell. Crucially, the agreement will include a mandatory purchase clause for the Ukrainian defender set at approximately €50 million.

The Ukrainian international already possesses considerable experience in the English top flight, having previously proved his quality across several impressive Premier League campaigns.

It is worth noting that according to Transfermarkt, the 23-year-old Ukrainian defender's current transfer value is estimated at €45 million.
