The future of Mykhailo Mudryk at London’s Chelsea has taken on new legal contours.
Details: According to the latest information from the Football Association’s (The FA) list of agency agreements, the Ukrainian winger has signed an updated contract within the past year. Despite the player’s current suspension, the Blues’ management opted to revisit the terms of their partnership with Mykhailo.
However, reports indicate that this does not automatically mean an extension of Mudryk’s current deal, which already runs until 2031. Most likely, the move is about a financial incentive and a revision of the payment structure. A similar case previously occurred with Marc Cucurella: back then, a contract update was used to increase the player’s salary without altering the expiry date, highlighting the club’s trust in Mudryk’s potential.
