Reports suggest Rulani Mokowena will leave Libyan giants Al Ittihad in this off-season
Rulani Mokwena is reportedly on his way out of Libyan giants Al Ittihad.
Mokwena joined the Libyan side in April after leaving Algerian giants MC Alger, whom he got to be on top of the table to be eventual League winners even after his departure.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns gaffer is said to have mutually agree to leave the Libyan giants who are not happy the team did not win any silverware under Mokwena.
Their gripe was losing a cup final 2-0 to fierce rivals in Al-Ahly Tripoli last season which marked the end of their hopes of a trophy.
And now the fall is taken by the coach who is was on his third coaching job in three seasons.
For the past three years, Mokwena was in charge at Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca, Algeria's MC Alger and now Al Ittihad in Libya.
That Al Ittihad did not qualify for any Caf inter club competitions is also the reason the team wants Mokwena out.
