Reports suggest Raja Casablanca coach Fadlu Davids in interested in Kaizer Chiefs winger
Kaizer Chiefs could lose their talismanic Democratic Republic of Congo winger Glody Lilepo.
The towering winger has been in scintillating form for Amakhosi this season having joined from French Valenciennes FC.
A report on Le Site Info Raja Casablanca coach, Fadlu Davids, has submitted a request to his club management to consider buying Lilepo from Chiefs.
Davids is of South African descent and his interest in local players is from that perspective.
Lilepo has scored five goals for Chiefs this season and has been an influential player in the Chiefs attack.
Interest from abroad is not at all surprising as he has proven his mettle as a big name player.
A dent to his spirited displays for Chiefs is his absence from Democratic Republic of Congo World Cup squad announced yesterday.
Lilepo is said to have had a fallout with DRC national team coach, Sebastien Desabre, in 2023 which has resulted in him being snubbed for the national side.
It would be interesting if Chiefs would be willing to part ways with one of their influential players as the player would form part of a team to challenge for honours next season.
