Reports on Sinethemba Badela and Wendell Robinson: Both coaches are to join Rulani Mokwena as his backroom staff at Libyan side Al-Ittihad

Sinethemba Badela and Wendell Robinson are reported to be on their way to join Rulani Mokwena at Libya’s Al-Itihad.

Badela and Robinson are to form part of Mokwena’s backroom staff where the South African coach is to be unveiled imminently, having left Algeria’s MC Alger on Sunday.

The arrival of the coaching duo is to increase the number of South Africans at the club to four as midfielder Thembinkosi Lorch is also in the Libyan side’s books.

Lorch joined at the start of the year from Wydad Casablanca where he worked under Mokwena together with Badela.

Badela has been without a job after parting ways with PSL side Durban City following disagreements over the style of play.

Robinson has also been less active as a goalkeeper coach even though he can also be an assistant to the head coach over and above being a goalminder’s gaffer.

The announcement by the Libyan side on Rulani Mokwena’s arrival with his entourage is imminent.
