Reports indicate Arthur Zwane has applied for the Bafana Bafana coaching job to replace Hugo Broos

AmaZulu coach Arthur Zwane has applied for the Bafana Bafana coaching job.

Zwane's application comes at an opportune time as current incumbent Hugo Broos will see his contract with Safa expires after the World Cup.

This application shows ambition from the Usuthu coach has not been a coach at this level as yet as he only coached at clubs only.

The only time he was involved with the national team was when Molefi Ntseki was still in charge of Bafana Bafana.

Ntseki would call Zwane as an assistant now and them but his lack of experience may not be in his favour for the Bafana top job.

Safa has confirmed Pitso Mosimane has applied and he looks like one candidate who is a favourite to takeover the reigns as soon as Broos leaves.

Now that Zwane's name has been thrown in, it would interesting how far his application could go given his lack of international pedigree.
