Reports in Egypt links South African coach Pitso Mosimane with Ceramica Cleopatra coaching job

Pitso Mosimane is touted as a possible replacement for Ali Maher as Ceramica Cleopatra coach.

Maher is linked with a job at Pyramids which makes Ceramica Cleopatra to line up Mosimane as a potential replacement.

"Ceramica Cleopatra is currently negotiating with several coaches to compensate for the possible departure of Ali Maher to Pyramids," a source told Yalla Kora, an Egyptian publication.

"South African coach Pitso Mosimane has been nominated to lead Ceramica Cleopatra in the new season.

"Negotiations have already taken place with the South African coach and he has agreed to lead Ceramica Cleopatra in the new season.

"There is more than one coach nominated to lead Ceramica Cleopatra if Ali Maher leaves to coach Pyramids.”

Mosimane has been club-less since leaving Iran side Esteghlal FC in January 2025. But another twist to Mosiamne is that is also linked with Bafana Bafana's job as Hugo Broos is expected to leave the national side.
