Details: According to The Sun, it was revealed today that the death of 47-year-old former head coach of Liverpool, Millwall, Chelsea, and West Ham women's teams, Matt Beard, who took his own life, may have been the result of bullying and humiliation he suffered while working at Burnley.
It is reported that Beard's family believes that he was subjected to humiliation at Burnley, which led to mental health issues that affected his well-being.
Matt Beard resigned as head coach of Burnley's women's team in August last year, and was found hanged just a month later in September.
Following allegations against Burnley, the investigation has now listed the club as a suspect, with its actions being considered as "driving to suicide."
Previously, Beard coached the women's teams of Millwall, Chelsea, and West Ham, and won back-to-back Women's Super League titles in 2013 and 2014 with Liverpool Women.
