Relebohile Mofokeng has disclosed what Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos told him after his move to Broos' native country, Belgium.
The nippy 21-year-old player recently signed for Belgium's St Gilloise from Orlando Pirates after a stellar Betway Premiership season and a decent World Cup display with Bafana.
But Pirates were quick to highlight the move was not a direct result of the midfielder's performance at the global spectacle.
“I told him, and he said it is a very good move for me. He advised me that I must do extra work. He said he will be there; I must call him anytime I need help,” said Mofokeng on Metro FM Sports show.
Broos is a Belgium native and, indeed, he could be of great help for Mofokeng's adjustment in the European state.
