The Cherries are ramping up their activity in the transfer market.
Details: According to renowned and respected journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano on his X social media page, Benfica’s central defender António Silva is on the verge of continuing his career in the English Premier League.
Romano reports that Bournemouth have nearly finalized the transfer of the Portuguese footballer.

It is reported that the club has already agreed all key personal contract terms with the player. In addition, negotiations between Bournemouth and Benfica are in their final stages, with only a few details left to be ironed out.
However, the official completion of the deal will not take place this week. The Lisbon club intends to release the defender a bit later, after which the transfer can be fully finalized.
Silva’s current contract with Benfica runs until 2027, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at 25 million euros.
