Details: Borussia Dortmund is on the verge of completing the transfer of one of Europe's most promising young footballers—Kostas Karetsas.
According to Sasha Tavolieri, the German club will pay KRC Genk €33 million for the 18-year-old attacking midfielder, with the Belgian side also securing a percentage of any future resale.
Reports indicate that all key details have already been settled. Karetsas has agreed to a five-year contract, which will keep him at Dortmund until the summer of 2031.
The official confirmation of the deal is expected once the paperwork is finalized and the player completes all mandatory formalities.
Karetsas is a Genk academy product, and this move marks the first major transfer of his career.
Kostas Karetsas' market value is currently estimated at €35 million by Transfermarkt, and his contract with Genk was originally set to run until 2029.
