Referee, who was beaten in Turkey, has been released from hospital
Turkish referee Halil Umut Meler, who was the victim of an attack in Turkey, has been discharged from hospital.

According to Sky Sports, the referee's life is not currently in danger.
After the brutal beating of the referee, the Turkish Football Federation suspended matches in all leagues in the country. The judge of the UEFA Referees Committee, Pierluigi Collina, also reacted to the event. He noted that no arbitrator should be attacked because of his decisions.
Khalil Umut Meler was also personally supported by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. According to him, sport means peace and brotherhood and there is no place for violence.
