Redemption. Romelu Lukaku holds meeting with Napoli management as future in Naples revealed

Details: According to renowned and credible journalist and insider Ben Jacobs on his X social media page, 32-year-old Napoli striker Romelu Lukaku met with club executives to clear the air and resolve all issues following his sudden departure to Belgium without informing anyone at the club.

The meeting reportedly took place in a calm atmosphere, and both parties agreed that Lukaku will travel to Belgium today, where he will continue his recovery from injury under the close supervision of the club’s medical staff. After that, he will return to Italy and resume playing for Napoli.

There is no longer any talk of Lukaku being suspended or excluded from the squad.

Lukaku joined Napoli from Chelsea in 2024 for €30 million. He has made 45 appearances for Napoli, scoring 15 goals and providing 11 assists. According to Transfermarkt, his current transfer value is estimated at €12 million.
