The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in Formula 1 took place in Jeddah today, March 9th. The race promised to be interesting for several reasons even before it started. However, there wasn't much excitement on the track, especially in terms of the podium battle.

Apart from Verstappen's usual victory, two retirements should be noted. Lance Stroll and Pierre Gasly retired from the race in the first half. Second place, just like the week before in Bahrain, went to Verstappen's teammate, Sergio Perez. Crossing the finish line in third was the Ferrari of Charles Leclerc. Interestingly, Carlos Sainz was replaced by the talented British driver Oliver Bearman from Formula 2, who achieved a decent result for a debutant, finishing seventh and showing good pace throughout the race. Bearman was recognized as the driver of the day.

Also in the top 10 were both Mercedes drivers, McLaren drivers, and Fernando Alonso and Nico Hulkenberg. The fastest lap was set by Charles Leclerc.
