Real-life superhero! Olympic kiteboarder Bruno Lobo rescues drowning woman

Olympic kiteboarder Bruno Lobo, who competed in the Paris Games, turned into a real-life hero when he saved a drowning woman. The dramatic rescue was captured on video, which Lobo later shared on his Instagram page.
While testing his new kiteboarding equipment off the coast of Brazil, Lobo noticed a woman struggling in the water. The video shows him spotting the distressed swimmer, approaching her on his board, and carefully carrying her on his shoulders back to shore.
The rescued woman hugged the athlete in gratitude, appearing unharmed and in good condition after the ordeal.
Lobo’s actions were widely praised in the comments section, with many calling him a hero—a fitting title for someone who saved a life.
Bruno Lobo is a decorated athlete, having won gold medals at the Pan American Games in 2019 and 2023.
Outside of sports, Lobo is also a successful orthopedic doctor. He graduated from medical school in 2017, proving that his dedication to helping others extends beyond the water.
