Real Madrid has set its sights on Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot, according to sources.
Details: As reported by TeamTalk, even though the “Merengues” signed Trent Alexander-Arnold in the summer of 2025, the club continues to look for options to bolster the right side of their defense. One of the main candidates for this reinforcement is Diogo Dalot.
Real understands that Dani Carvajal is already 33 years old and will need a replacement in the long term. That's why the Portuguese defender has once again appeared on the radar of the Madrid giants.
Manchester United’s management, led by Jason Wilcox, is already discussing Dalot’s future within the club. The Red Devils are aware of Real’s potential interest and are not ruling out the possibility of a sale—potentially as early as next summer.
Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich are also reportedly interested in the defender.
It’s worth noting that this season Dalot has played 14 matches for Manchester United across all competitions, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
Reminder: Manchester United is ready to sell Bruno Fernandes for £70 million to sign two new players.
