A major transfer saga is brewing at Real Madrid this summer.
Details: According to Diario Sport, despite the club’s ongoing presidential election, the board led by Florentino Pérez isn’t wasting any time and is actively shaping the club’s sporting future. The “Los Blancos” have set their sights on a crucial midfield reinforcement for the upcoming transfer window, still seeking a world-class specialist to fill the void left by the legendary Toni Kroos and Luka Modrić. Argentine star Enzo Fernández has emerged as one of Madrid’s top two targets, alongside Rodri.

The midfielder himself is reportedly fully on board—Enzo is enthusiastic about a move to the Spanish capital. Fernández is determined to leave Chelsea this summer after the London club’s disappointing season, which saw them miss out on all European competitions. Reports indicate that representatives of the “Royal Club” have already made official contact with the player’s agent, Javier Pastore.
However, Madrid is well aware that this deal will be neither simple nor cheap. Chelsea have taken a firm stance, demanding a hefty £120 million (almost €140 million) for their star, which, if agreed, would become the most expensive sale in the London club’s history.
Reminder: Former Real captain Sergio Ramos will not be able to buy Sevilla.
