Details: According to Relevo, Real is on the hunt for a new centre-back, but four key factors must align for a player to make the move to the Santiago Bernabéu. The defender must be young, reasonably priced, versatile, and ready to play from the very first matches. It remains unclear whether Real has already found the right candidate.
Reminder: Previously, the Madrid club was linked with a move for Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen, but ultimately Los Blancos decided against pursuing the Dutchman. Next season, it's highly likely that Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso will take the helm at Real, and Florentino Pérez will have to pay up for him.
