The Madrid side will have to battle Bayern Munich for his signature.

Details: According to renowned insider Ekrem Konur on his X social media account, 26-year-old Portuguese right-back Diogo Dalot from Manchester United is one of the main candidates to strengthen Real Madrid's defensive line.

Reports indicate that the injury-prone and inconsistent performances of Trent Alexander-Arnold, as well as frequent injuries to other defenders, have forced the Galacticos' management to enter the transfer market in search of reinforcements.

The 26-year-old Dalot is considered a quality and reliable solution to Real’s problem at full-back. Besides Los Blancos, Bayern Munich are also chasing the Portuguese defender, as the German giants are also struggling with recurring injuries among their backline.

For his part, Dalot is not currently eager to leave Manchester United, despite the interest from such illustrious clubs.

This season, Diogo Dalot has made 23 appearances for the Red Devils, scoring 1 goal and providing 2 assists.

His current contract with Manchester United runs until 2028, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at 28 million euros.

Reminder: New target: Manchester United set sights on Johan Manzambi
