Manchester United are hoping to win the race against a host of rival clubs.
Details: According to renowned journalist Ekrem Konur on his X social media page, Manchester United have identified 20-year-old SC Freiburg central midfielder Johan Manzambi as their latest transfer target.
Reports suggest Manzambi is being considered as an alternative to Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton, who would be much more difficult for the Red Devils to land.

Freiburg are not opposed to letting the midfielder leave, but have made it clear that a transfer for less than €50 million is off the table.
Alongside Manchester United, both Arsenal and Chelsea are closely monitoring Manzambi's situation.
This season, Manzambi has played 26 matches for Freiburg, scoring 4 goals and providing 5 assists. His current contract with Freiburg runs until 2030, and his market value, according to Transfermarkt, stands at €30 million.
