Real Madrid vs Manchester City: what to know about the match?
Real Madrid secured a narrow win over Manchester City in the first leg. However, their form over the last five matches has been inconsistent, with two wins, two draws, and one defeat. In their latest match, Los Blancos were held to a 1-1 draw against Osasuna. In the Champions League group stage, Real Madrid finished 11th after eight rounds, just one step away from securing a direct spot in the Round of 16.
City barely made it into the playoffs, finishing 22nd in the overall group stage standings. In the first leg against Real Madrid, Guardiola’s side twice took the lead but eventually lost 2-3. However, they bounced back strongly in the Premier League with a 4-0 demolition of Newcastle, featuring a hat-trick from Omar Marmoush.
