Real Madrid thrash Valladolid in first home match of season with debut goal from Endrick

Real Madrid hosted Valladolid at Santiago Bernabéu for the second round of La Liga. Following their UEFA Super Cup victory over Atalanta, the "Los Blancos" had a poor start domestically, dropping points in their game against Mallorca.

Today's match was reminiscent of their previous encounter. Despite dominating possession in the first half, Real Madrid rarely threatened the opponent's goal. However, Carlo Ancelotti managed to shake up his players during the break. The opening goal came quickly after: Federico Valverde scored with a superb long-range shot following a free kick.

Just before the final whistle, the hosts scored twice more. Kylian Mbappé had a subpar game and missed a golden opportunity to score his first La Liga goal, failing to capitalize on a pass from Vinícius. Notably, the Frenchman was substituted by Endrick, who made his official debut for Real Madrid and sealed the match with a late goal.
