Real Madrid president says there is nothing abnormal about players fighting, but the leak is much worse
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has commented on the incident between Federico Valverde and Aurélien Tchouaméni, which recently became public knowledge.
Details: During a large-scale press conference, the club chief urged not to dramatize the situation, calling the scuffle a normal occurrence among young people.
"Valverde and Tchouaméni had a fight, just like young guys do: one threw a punch, the other responded, and then they were friends again. It's normal," Perez said, emphasizing that the conflict was resolved almost instantly.
According to the president, the very next day after the incident, the players were already talking peacefully and even went out for coffee together. However, what angered Perez much more was not the scuffle itself, but the fact that information about it leaked to the media.
He noted that the locker room "leak" is a far more serious problem, as it fuels unnecessary rumors and suggests there are hidden issues within the squad that go far beyond a routine altercation.
Reminder: Florentino Perez has again voiced criticism regarding the Negreira case
