Real Madrid is considering offering goalkeeper Andriy Lunin a new long-term contract, as reported by Marca.

The Whites will not extend their loan deal with another goalkeeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga. The club is convinced that Courtois and Lunin can secure the goalkeeper position at Real Madrid for a long time. Additionally, there is strong belief in Madrid's youth academy, which could contribute to the team's foundation in the coming years.

Considering this, Real Madrid is contemplating offering Andriy Lunin a new long-term contract. However, it's noted that while the signing of a new agreement is approaching, it's not imminent. It's worth reminding that the current agreement between the parties expires next summer.

After the victorious quarter-final match of the UEFA Champions League, Real Madrid's president, Florentino Perez, personally spoke with Lunin and insisted that he sign a new contract with Real Madrid.

Recall that in the absence of Courtois, initially, Chelsea's loaned goalkeeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga, became Real Madrid's main goalkeeper, and later, Lunin surpassed him in competition. In 27 matches this season, the 25-year-old Ukrainian has secured 12 clean sheets and conceded 23 goals.
