Real Madrid head coach has shut down the issue of a possible departure goalkeeper from the club
Real Madrid's head coach, Carlo Ancelotti, has definitively closed the door on the departure of goalkeeper Andriy Lunin.
The manager of the "Royal Club" stated that the Ukrainian goalkeeper will definitely not leave Madrid this summer and will see out his contract with the team.
Previously, the goalkeeper and Real Madrid were unable to agree on a new contract due to differences. The club's management is not willing to deviate from the terms that were agreed upon in the spring. At Real Madrid, they believe that if Lunin wants to stay, it will only be under the conditions offered to him.
Ancelotti considers Thibaut Courtois as the first-choice goalkeeper, and plans to give Lunin playing time only in the Copa del Rey and when necessary to cover for the Belgian. This matter is not in question within the club.
