Real Madrid's head coach Carlo Ancelotti responded to the question of whether Modrić would be ending his career, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.

According to the Italian specialist, he knows when the Croatian footballer is feeling down and out of form, but Modrić has no plans to retire. Ancelotti mentioned that the whole world thinks that Luka will retire, but the player himself doesn't think so.

"He still has legs, energy. This is not the end of his career. Look at his quality," stated Carlo Ancelotti.

Recall that on February 25th, as part of the 26th round of the Spanish La Liga, Real Madrid hosted Sevilla. The only accurate shot in the match was by Luka Modrić, who came on as a substitute. The Croatian struck brilliantly from the penalty area and secured victory for the "Galacticos".

As a reminder, it was previously reported that there is a high likelihood that Modrić will leave "Los Blancos" this summer when his contract expires. He may still have an impact on the team until the end of the season, but it is still not the conclusion of the brilliant 12-year period in the Spanish capital as he would have liked.
